SMS Terms and Conditions – Students
The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB) is committed to protecting your privacy. 1. Consent
When you engage with our student messaging platforms, you provide consent for UTMB to use your contact data for operational purposes. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes; your information will only be used to facilitate the services you have requested from us.
Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All these categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information is also protected from and not shared with any third parties.
2. Opt-out Instructions
We respect your right to opt out of our messaging platforms and campaigns at any time. If you wish to stop receiving text-based communication from us, you can opt out by responding to a message with any of the following terms: STOP, QUIT, END, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE.
